Christmas Markets in Fort Worth: 4 Holiday Shopping Events for 2026
Handmade gifts, local makers, vintage finds and Fort Worth holiday markets worth putting on the calendar

Fort Worth’s holiday-market season starts earlier than most people think.

The city’s 2026 calendar stretches from an October gift market through mid-December, with very different options for shoppers who want national vendors, handmade local goods, vintage finds or a market attached to a bigger holiday outing.

These four are already confirmed.

OCT. 7–11: Christmas in Cowtown Holiday Gift Market.

The Junior League of Fort Worth celebrates the 20th anniversary of Christmas in Cowtown at Will Rogers Memorial Center.

The market runs Oct. 7–11 with a ticketed Preview Party and Private Shopping before broader shopping hours begin.

Merchants cover categories such as home goods, jewelry, clothing, children’s gifts and seasonal products, and proceeds support the Junior League’s community work.

This is the earliest major Christmas-shopping event on the calendar, which makes it useful for people who prefer to finish gifts before Thanksgiving enters the conversation.

NOV. 21–22: Funky Finds Holiday Shopping Experience.

Funky Finds returns to Will Rogers Memorial Center for its 17th annual holiday event.

The free-admission market is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, with more than 150 handmade and vintage vendors expected.

Products range from art, jewelry and clothing to home goods, food, pet items, ceramics and vintage pieces.

The event also includes charitable raffles and pet adoptions, with parking charged separately by the venue.

If “shop small” is the actual goal, this is one of the strongest Fort Worth dates of the season.

DEC. 5: The Clearfork Holiday Market.

The Shops at Clearfork has its 2026 Holiday Market set for Dec. 5.

Visit Fort Worth describes the market as an expanded version of Clearfork’s regular farmers market, adding more than 50 artisan vendors along with gifts, decorations, seasonal treats, photo backdrops, Santa and live music.

The Clearfork setting also makes it easy to combine local-vendor shopping with the larger retail and dining district.

DEC. 12: Wandering Roots Holiday Market Sip & Shop.

Fort Worth Botanic Garden hosts its holiday market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 12.

The event is expected to feature more than 50 local vendors, food, sweets, a children’s craft zone, face painting and Santa.

The market itself is free, but regular Garden admission is required to enter the grounds.

This is the best fit if you want holiday shopping to be one part of a broader family day rather than the entire outing.

Which Fort Worth holiday market should you choose?

Choose Christmas in Cowtown for the biggest traditional gift-market experience and an early start.

Choose Funky Finds for handmade and vintage shopping with a strong small-business focus.

Choose Clearfork for artisan shopping in a polished retail district, and the Botanic Garden for a family-friendly market built into a day at the Garden.

Do not confuse a holiday market with a normal retail sale.

The appeal is discovering makers, small businesses and gifts you are unlikely to find by searching a national retailer online.

That means the best strategy is to arrive with categories of people to shop for rather than a rigid product list.

The point is finding something you did not know to search for.

Cowtown Current will update this page as additional 2026 holiday markets are confirmed, but we will not fill it with unverified pop-ups copied from previous seasons.

This permanent guide will be refreshed each year rather than starting from a new URL every Christmas.
